Making 7 super bowls is still a pretty awesome accomplishment.
At the party I was at, my fellow Broncos friend was obviously depressed and was starting to wonder what was even the point of getting there if they were going to get killed.Electromatic wrote:Making 7 super bowls is still a pretty awesome accomplishment.
Who's your starting qb come 2015? That's a pretty big whole that needs to be filled.Green Habit wrote:Regardless of what happened here, the future is still bright. Elway's building this team very well. Just take your lumps, move on, and keep doing your job.
The team's at least prepared with Osweiler and Dysert--of course who knows what they will do. But the rest of the team is built well. I don't think the 2013 Broncos are the 2009 Colts, where Polian's bad GM moves were soon exposed badly afterwards.surfndestroy wrote:Who's your starting qb come 2015? The Pats are 3-4 in Super Bowls. It's awesome to reach the Super Bowl...not so awesome to lose it so often. I can understand what Denver is going through today and feel badly.Green Habit wrote:At the party I was at, my fellow Broncos friend was obviously depressed and was starting to wonder what was even the point of getting there if they were going to get killed.Electromatic wrote:Making 7 super bowls is still a pretty awesome accomplishment.
The host of the party, a Browns fan, found a funny way to say "STFU" in response.
I'm telling you. Start paying attention. Oh and any of those free agents your team wants? They would prefer to play in Seattle.Peeps wrote:this is why he is insufferableLament wrote:"This is the start of a dynasty!" -Steelers fans, February of 2006Bammer wrote:The only thing potentially in the way of a Seahawks dynasty are the 9ers, Cardinals, and Rams.

Meanwhile the 00's Patriots, 90's Cowboys, 80's 49ers, 70's Steelers, and 60's Packers chuckle...
In my experience, they would prefer to play where the $ is. Especially once they have a ring.Bammer wrote:Oh and any of those free agents your team wants? They would prefer to play in Seattle.
We shouldn't forget the Tampa Bay dynasty that was upon us after they won the Super Bowl. I mean, they had a young head coach who was going to be the next Vince Lombardi and a defense that gave up less points than the 85 Bears. They were probably gonna win five in a row.Coach wrote:I'd only add the Rams claim to the start of dynasty right before kickoff vs. the Pats in the Super Bowl.
That's a good one, too. I'm sure that Warren Sapp agrees.Lament wrote:We shouldn't forget the Tampa Bay dynasty that was upon us after they won the Super Bowl. I think both moves are rational even though they make fans feel bad. Both Bailey (age) and Talib (character) have flags.Coach wrote:I hear ya. Pats are likely to lose out on the Talib free agency sweepstakes.Green Habit wrote:I knew this was going to happen, but the moment still sucks.
Without Talib (or a shutdown corner) we saw how badly the Pats truly are on defense.Green Habit wrote:I think both moves are rational even though they make fans feel bad. Florio's been rumor mongering that the Broncos and Pats could end up in a fight over Revis. Not sure what I would think about that for either team.
Green Habit wrote:Since the Broncos aren't even going to offer a tender to Trindon Holliday, I'd like them to sign Darren Sproles. It could be a very small step towards correcting the worst draft decision Mike Shanahan ever made--taking Maurice Clarett over Sproles, and letting him torment the Broncos for several years when the Chargers took him.
