A little unfair to compare to Tenet in terms of box office, as it was extremely affected by the pandemic
But yeah the hype is off the charts and the box office numbers are incredible

Yeah I don’t consider Tenet a box office flop just because of its numbers.
Nice to see Nolan will continue to work with huge budgets no matter what kind of movie he is doing.

I think Tenet's problem wasn't that it was a bad movie, but that it was a little hard to follow. That may have turned some people off from rewatching it in the theater a second time, or telling others not to bother because it is too hard to follow.
I've seen it three time and am still not quite sure I fully understand it all. And I think about time trave a lot!
