If you don’t like it, stop it. Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl partly based on stopping the Bills QB sneak all game that was all but a sure thing any other attempt all season long

unfortunately the commish doesn't like it and is going to stop it b/c of 'safety' lol
the eagles are about to resurrect the fullback position this season
steelers send pickens to the cowboys. wtf is pittsburgh doing?

thing is if the defense is not allowed to push their defenders into the pile, but the offense is allowed to push the ball holder into the pile, that doesn’t sound like an equal match to me
are there equivalent imbalances for a rugby scrum?
can’t be that one side is allowed to go three-deep pushing but the other is only allowed one?
i don’t hate the play but if that’s the current state my view is let the defense push as well

my two cents....
the steelers have been stuck with being a good enough team. meaning they are either middle of the pack or a sneak into the playoffs team. this has left them drafting for need instead of drafting to win. i thought najee was a serviceable running back. justin fields could have easily been qb1 but these guys would have again lead the team to a mediocre record and out of the top ten draft picks.
while the national media lauds tomlin for never having a losing season locally and the fan base are over it because all it has led to is drafting 30th in the first round without getting any impact players (watt and pickens were outliers then you have kenny picket, bush, and others who were high draft picks [for the steelers] and they were busts).
i see rogers signing and being a gap qb. whether it is 1 or a 2 year deal they are hoping to get their new qb1 in next years draft and will likely start them once drafted.

you have my sympathy
i just dont know why they didn't draft sanders. he's going to be a starter, maybe not top 10 in the league, but i thought it was such a clear fit. i dunno who the qb's in next years draft are so maybe they are waiting for someone better w/ rogers in there for a year.

i will say this for the steelers. they do regard character very highly. i think sanders was way to much me-centric and then add in his father and you have levar ball light situation.

And they just got rid of headache Pickens. Having no one to throw to isn’t going to entice AR to sign.

What? Pickens sucked and was overrated. DK Metcalf is there now.

sucked and overrated?
in his three years with the steelers his quartbacks have been, Trubisky, Pickett, Rudolph, Fields and Wilson.
hes averaged 58 recpetions a season on 98 targets a season and 900 yards and an average of 16.3 yards per catch a season to go with 4 touchdowns over those three seasons and .3 fumbles lost each of those years.
what do you think he would be capable of with an average qb let alone one who can wait a second and a half longer to get the ball down the field ?

Pickens is an undeniable talent but he's a fucking headcase. I totally get my Tomlin and the Steeler organization would be willing to part ways.
I look forward to the fist fight between Pickens and Lamb on live TV next season.

Peeps mentions the Steelers valuing character after predicting they’ll sign Aaron Rodgrs lol.
Also, averaging 58 catches and 900 yards is about as average as it gets.

it is quite the quandry with the rodgers signing. his thoughts and personal opinions are way out there but i dont know if he is actually bad influence on the locker room. it seems most of the hate comes from outside the team. where as a lot of players in the steelers locker room were done with pickens antics
yes pickens stats were average with below average qbs throwing to him. if he gets a decent qb throwing to him he is an easy 80-85 catches and 12/1300 yard and 10 tds a year. his biggest problem is he gets in his own way so we will see

i think the problem with rodgers is he's not in the locker room and wants his own schedule.
