It’s a good album, but I need more time before I am totally sold.
Which McCartney album is the most recent where you wouldn't say the same thing?
McCartney III and New off the top of my head
Huh...
Admittedly it’s been a long time since I heard those albums, so it’s based on pure memory.

I gotcha. No worries. I'm glad you liked those records. I wish I had liked them more, TBH.

I listened to McCartney III once and then completely forgot it existed. St. Vincent is even on that thing (I think?) and genuinely have no idea how that song goes.

I think the last McCartney record that I fully enjoyed was like... Flaming Pie? Maybe? Or wait, when was Driving Rain? That was after right, so I think that one.

I feel like as always, the more listens and fall into that space (stream of consciousness stoner ramble) the better it gets
Listened today and I kinda think it's his best album

Two new Interpol songs dropping on the 9th. I haven't enjoyed much of their post-Carlos output, but I've heard some live footage of "See out Loud" and thought it sounded pretty encouraging, so hoping for the best.

I'm deep into the new record from Jesse Welles and it's a pearler.
