the team has given up on laviolette. hopefully they can him soon and bring in a coach who isnt afraid to dress muscle and bench star players (briere, timonen). id also like a real enforcer on the team instead of 5'9 zach rinaldo.
Paging lindy ruff.

i honestly have no problem with the trap. want to stop it? beat it. plain and simple. youre adults getting paid a nice chunk of change to play a game, figure out a way to beat it.

Crosby is unbelievable this year. He's so much fun to watch.
I haven't decided if the Habs are for real yet, so barring that decision I think a Pens-Hawks final would be great.

He looked really, really scary against the Leafs. I thought Phaneuf did a great job of shadowing him and battling along the boards, but he still dominated pretty much every aspect of the game.
Peeps wrote:obviously at first i was pissed but when seeing the replay it wasnt anything dirty at all. he said in the post game, yea, did you see that airtime i got there?
Yeah, I actually thought Franson low-bridged him until they showed the replay and he was just standing up after sliding to block a shot.

if the flyers make the playoffs the pens are going to have to grow up.

i realize it is easy for me to say this as i type on a laptop and i am not the one getting hit or slashed but dont retaliate. that is their game and it works wonderfully for them especially against this team of penguins.

until the prove they can stay away from the retallitory /stupid penalties then the flyers will always scare m a bit

yes, b/c malkin and neal have never slashed anyone.

the flyers own the pens b/c they run them through the boards and crash the net, not b/c they slash people.

The Pens have won 2 of 3 matchups this year. That's a pretty liberal use of the word "own".

last year???? do you remember the penguins two cup runs when you barely won a game?

and i didnt say the pens dont slash. i said the pens let the flyers get in their heads and they get caught retaliating and the pens need to stop that. if the flyers were half as defensive as you are they might have 3 more wins
