Saw this video on rage last night while flipping channels and thought it was great.

Teenage psych rockers from Lismore!

Rest of their stuff is just as good!

Camp Cope are breaking up. Mother fucker.

Their debut album is a stone classic. Their follow ups are good but don't reach the same heights unfortunately.

Glad I got to see them that one time.

Caught a Colin Hay solo gig earlier in the week, he's still got the voice and is as funny/engaiging between songs as ever.

He played Overkill, Who Can It be Now? and obviously Down Under as the crowdpleasers.

His post Men At Work solo catalogue is sadly overlooked by the masses.

Well worth seeing if he passes through your town.

I would LOVE to see Colin Hay in person. He did an East Coast tour of Australia last year but (a) I didn't know he was here and (b) there was no way last year of all years that I could have made it the 4,000kms over to see him.

I have a suspicion he'll be one that I won't ever get to catch in the flesh unfortunately.

Glad you enjoyed the show. The dude sure loves a chat, don't he?

He also released a (to my mind) forgettable album last year, but he's had a couple of crackers in the past. His 1992 album Peaks and Valleys is my fave but 1998's Transcendental Highway is also very very good.

Here's my (probably) favourite song by him, Melbourne Song.

Currently doing a bit of a deep dive through the Saints catalogue. Chris Bailey would absolutely be in my top 5 all time vocalists.

Civic - taken by force

Old school sounding punk.. it would fit right in on the Tony hawk soundtracks

They sound great! Crazy this is from this year, could have been 1980. In the best way.

Just found out that Rolling Blackouts are playing here next week. For $10. What is this, the 90's again?

Fuck yes.

And Civic sound great. They're playing just near my old place in Brixton later this year. Wow.

Love it. If you'd told me that was a Lazy Eyes tune or something from the Gizz vault I'd have believed you.

Still, the more Aussie psych, the better.

Twice I've had tix to RBCF and twice it hasn't happened. Apparently it was a great gig.

DMA'S are everywhere over here at the moment (UK). Huge media campaign.

Saw them last week and they were good without being mindblowing - new album has some solid tunes on it despite moving in a more electronic direction from their early days.

I was going to see their final show up here but then two of their members pulled out a day before the show. Didn't end up going. :|

Nah, saw them a couple years ago and they weren't really my cup of tea.

I really like their drummer but they are hit and miss. There's a decent 5 songs though.

One of the guys from Powderfinger really pushes their stuff (I think they record in his studio?) but I found them underwhelming.

Yeah produced by Bernard with Nick Didia.

The singer is a bit grating after a while.
