Hang on there, guy. I don't want to get positioned in opposition to runny yolks. Obviously that would be best, but hard yolks are great too.

anyone ever try a "thousand year old egg"? I tried one in thailand once and could only get one bite down

Yep. It was initiation when I met my wife's grandmother.

Also, in Cambodia we had egg baguettes for breakfast and there were veins and one little skeleton structure.

The 100 year egg not so much. Haven't had one since though I will when my boy tries his first.

The omelette baguettes were outstanding.

Yep. It's okay. Smelly bastard though.

Green papaya salad is the bomb though. I had one in Pai that was the hottest dish I've ever tasted but still so, so good.

Love me some durian, something I miss a lot from NYC.
Pok Pok in Portland had a green papaya salad that flushed a nasty head cold out of my face in about ten minutes.
