Less truth to this than the other rumors. More like, "since PJ did this in the past, they'll do it again." They only did the Tester fundraiser once.TouringReg wrote:I saw Missoula weekend of July 28 has popped up a couple times on the other board. Any truth to this? I figured a show there supporting Tester this year would make sense.

I hope they do it. it would be a shame for all the US shows to be in massive stadiums.CopperTom wrote:Less truth to this than the other rumors. I believe however the 2005 show was also a Tester benefit, so I guess they’ve done it twice.
Edit - I checked and yes, the 2005 show was a benefit for his 2006 senate run. Confirmed by the giant picture of his face on the poster.

Re: 2018 Tour Rumors
I stand corrected. I just listened to the 2012 show and Ed mentioned Tester wasn't allowed on stage due to regulations, but in 2005 he was on stage and introduced the band. Is Tester's fuck up the real reason this show was never officially released?TouringReg wrote:Thanks man.CopperTom wrote:Less truth to this than the other rumors. I doubt it. Missoula was a late addition to the 2005 tour. Even the Gorge show, which was announced before Missoula but after the Canadian tour, was billed as a warmup for the Canadian tour. I think Missoula was seen by the band as a warmup, similar to London, ON 2013.

Missoula "official bootleg" was leaked though. Wierd that it was mixed like all of the others but never released.TouringReg wrote:CopperTom wrote:I stand corrected. I hope so too. I've been maxing my Hilton point accrual to offset those hotels costs.numbers wrote:I’ve started budgeting the Boston shows into my finances for the next month so this better fucking happen.

Hopefully this bodes well for Missoula getting announced at the same time as the baseball stadium shows.CopperTom wrote:Dimi dropped a Montana hint today.CopperTom wrote:Less truth to this than the other rumors. Logistically stupid. One of the worst rumors I've ever read. Dates in the northeast, southeast, midwest, southwest, northwest and Canada. Nope.
