I’m not running for President, but let’s say I did and won on Election Day and magically had a majority in the senate...and let’s say a justice retired...

I would invite Trump to the White House for a special announcement, really butter him up with wonderful superlatives...then while he stood there on the White House lawn appreciating his own grandeur, I would announce that I am nominating Barack Obama for the Supreme Court and we’ve agreed to waive the filibuster and go directly to vote. I would then resign having completed my one mission of owning the trumpies.

Ladies and gentlemen, that is why I cannot be a candidate for president.

i don't give a fuck who he votes for, so long as he votes with his conscience. He's in one of the bluest states in the country, MA is not gonna go to Trump. He shouldn't feel swayed by any national narrative he doesn't believe in.

Warren needs to drop out if she has half a brain

her speech last night began as though she was about to do the strategic thing and throw her support to Bernie

instead she pulled a classic Frantic-Aunt move and stuck around well past her welcome

she is the Ralph Nader that will put a Dem Moderate in office

Bernie needs her votes bc he is going to have to fight the Superdelegates, which will be bought by the moderate candidate

Right now, Warren's supporters will aimlessly defect to various candidates. If Warren had any sense she would articulate the argument for them supporting Sanders and hopefully deliver as many of them to the progressive side as possible now before they stray

and then Bernie can proceed as the clear front runner and build more steam as people pry off Butti and the Glob and gravitate to a real weiner

I believe Warren is the best candidate running right now on her own merits, but I also believe Bernie is the best candidate to take on Trump in the general. My push for chud to vote for Warren has nothing to do with any of that, and everything to do with voting his conscience so that the DNC has some useful data to work with after the fact.
