Hypothetical question for the room.

Let’s say, for the sake of discussion, that Kamala Harris ekes out a victory and then something something civil war.

Make up your own reason why. Maybe a collection of Republican electors from states that don’t require adherence to the popular vote outcome get together and say “I do not believe the vote in my state was accurately tabulated, I do not trust any state or federal audit to be conducted fairly, and therefore I choose to give my vote to Donald Trump.”

And maybe the Supreme Court decides that if the state doesn’t expressly have a law disallowing them from doing that, then they’re allowed to do that. So Mike Johnson moves to certify it.

Or maybe something else happens. I’m just making shit up. However you get there, imagine that you end up with two Americas… each one only willing to accept their recognized outcome.

Anyways, in such a hypothetical situation, I’m wondering if maybe we should just do March Madness early this year.

For as heated and high stakes as things are, I don’t think anyone outside of DJT and his most inner circle - and a few weirdos like MTG - cares enough to provoke a civil war scenario.
