You're a pansy with no sense of humor. Get over yourself.
In this case, no I won't. I'm getting bored of wheelchair jokes, especially coming from you, where there's no friendship involved. Just because you want to feel like you've made a funny, it doesn't mean I have to accept your patronisation.
I don't give a fuck what you think. GET A LIFE.

Hey guys, I noticed some of you were talking about the best song since 2000, but noticed the lack of Nothing As it Seems being mentioned. I will assume this was an oversight. thanks.

Wasn't that in 2000? I usually say that and mean since Binaural.

I really have no cause to get involved here but I feel like the other guy is just being a supreme fucktit and anyone can hide behind the internet I suppose but dissing someone's disability is a tad out of bounds no? There's no sort of code of ethics here at all? Yeesh.

Insignificance, Grievance and Sleight of Hand were mentioned, so I presume there is no track location restriction.

We are only considering binaural tracks from 6 on. It is an odd rule, I agree, but we live in a society of laws...

I almost think there are nothing but 4-5 star tracks on Binaural.

Anytime I say anything remotely controversial about anything, he's on my ass, yet other people do it all the time. Apparently I am not allowed to crack jokes because I am not Harmless' "friend". I didn't know that everything I said had to go through him first. Thank god he is here on the forum 24 hours a day, ridding the place of filth.

Yeah I don't have many either but if you give a song a 5 and I give it a 4.5 does it really matter? Seems like we get pages of arguments over a couple tenths of a percentage point. :D

:nice: :nice: :nice: :nice: :nice:
how can any song from Binaural or Riot Act be 5 stars compared to that?

Even within the 5 star range there's lots of room.

I don't know if any songs on here will be 5 stars. But quite a few will come close.
I'm not saying there are 5 star songs on Binaural or Riot Act. I'd have to listen to those records again. I do consider Sleight of Hand a 4-star song - that's the best song I can think of from those two records at the moment.

A 5-star song to me is a Pearl Jam song that I can hear over and over again and still enjoy, still feel that raw emotion that I felt when I first heard it. It has zero flaws. I'm talking Release, Animal, Indifference, Long Road, Black, Last Exit, etc. They come in all shapes and sizes and I grade them on a "pound-for-pound" basis. So there are 5-star rockers and 5-star softer tunes, mid-tempos, etc.

While some time has to pass, at first glance, I don't see how anything on LB comes close to 5 stars. That said, I am buying the CD, will blast it in my car and enjoy new Pearl Jam.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my only crime here was getting annoyed at Wendy's incessant and boring negative comments about everything Pearl Jam. It's fine to be incessantly negative if you can cope with people's dislike of it. Up until now, the apparent "rivalry" had been entirely about our feelings about Pearl Jam.
