He did the same exact thing to Ambrose at Fast Lane too.

AJ should probably feud with the club for a bit, and hopefully resulting in Finn Balor coming up to the main roster to lead the club. i am surprised they didnt get involved in the finish of the AJ/KO match last night though

I'm going to be upset if this Styles/Club thing doesn't lead to Balor's debut.

yeah me too, it makes way too much sense not to happen and is probably they best way to make Balor look strong up on the main roster. and why else would he have merch for the Balor Club if there wont be a stable with that name sometime

yeah. Problem is they often overlook what makes sense. For example, everyone is booing Reigns, and Rollins got a massive pop when he returned. So they give us Heel Rollins vs Face Reigns, the opposite of what makes sense.

so apparently Smackdown is moving to tuesdays and going to be live and it will be the return of the brand extension, there will be a draft sometime before smackdown goes live.

They've at least got the roster size for it at the moment. It'll be interesting to see how they work "special events" now - the brand-specific PPVs never really worked, but there's probably some innovative things you could do in that regard with the Network.

they did the brand specific ones when they had full sets of titles for each brand, now that they unified the top title and i dont see them bringing back a 2nd tag title or womens title they will probably have at least those 3 champions float between both rosters kinda like in the early days of the extension and maybe have the IC and US titles be show specific. so anyway i would think they special events will still be full roster but the month or so between events will get way more coverage for each wrestler and feud

I would create another tag belt, but just put say the Women's and US title on Raw and the 2nd tag belt and IC title on Smackdown(or vice versa.)

I actually have tickets to the Smackdown that will be the first to air live. That should be a stacked show now.

Ugh, the dirtsheets are reporting that the 'E wants to bring back a second world title.

Just elevate the others, you dicks.

I want the 2nd World Title, bring back the Big Gold Belt.

I think it would be cool if they tried to do things a bit differently: create a sort of Raw league and Smackdown league. Points-based, with top performers getting shots at titles (they could have runners up getting shots, but on the other show - ie no "home town" advantage, blahblahblah).

That way, you have a constant hub-bub of mid-card guys shuffling to get a shot at the IC or US title, then a smaller hub-bub of upper mid-card guys aiming for the big one. You could even have a tier system, which could be dangerous and disheartening for lower level talent, but would make for all kinds of fairytale stories and such. And all the pre-show "analysis" could be rooted in actual stats rather than just Booker T going "Oh man, this is going to be good".

Then on top of that keep expanding the tag team division and make it feel as important it has a few times over history - they've done great things with the womens division, and teams like New Day prove that tag teams can be their most over assets.

I always hated having more than one of each of the main titles. If they're serious about the women's division, they could bring in a women's tag title and have that with the men's.

Having 2 titles cheapened both - especially when you started having situations where Rumble winners would challenge for the obvious B-title at 'Mania, and not be anywhere near the main event.

Eventually that's what happened, but when they first did it, it worked. The shows have to be kept completely seperate, when they did that both belts were equal. It was when they started having SD guys on Raw, and WHC matches featuring guys who were nowhere near the WWE title scene all on the same show, it made the WHC look weak.

What I'm hoping, is that Smackdown will become the show for people that like wrestling, kind of like it was when they were split and Heyman was writing Smackdown. I'd love to see a show centered around Styles, Nakamura, Balor, the guys that just had the IC title 4 way, and son on.

If nothing else, that'd be a good experiment for them to run - see if a wrasslin' show can get decent ratings.
