Han: Hands them over all the hyper fuel for the rebellion for free and gets asked to join the rebellion and says don’t hold your breath kid.

Also Han: I ain’t this for your rebellion.

The restraining bolt thing, droid/prisoners/slaves breaking free was one of my favorite parts. Didn't think L3 was that great overall, but this sequence was brilliant.

Another thing about this movie is that it confirms my personal thoughts about the Han character.

I've never been a giant Han fan but this actuality made me like Han more than I ever have before.

Has Han ever successfully completed a smuggling job?

ANH: Dumped Jabba's Cargo
TFA: Pissed off those dudes on his freighter
Solo: Failed twice to deliver stolen fuel
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

It was alright I guess. Fun little bit of entertainment. I don't think Han actor guy was very good, though. Smirking is not acting.

Liked:
-Chewbacca
-
Spoiler: show
That cthulu monster and all the space stuff in general
-Han shot first!
-It felt a lot more Star Warsy than any of the other sequels/prequels, even though it had some weird Star Trekky technobabble
-the bad guy with the scars was neat

Hated:
-Oh my god fembot needs to die a thousand deaths. It was really distracting that it sounded like Gwendoline Christie, too.
-Emelia Clarke sucks as always
-Han was meh

Huh?
Spoiler: show
Darth Maul? Ok whatever. No this was dumb. He's an attack dog, not a schemer. Was it Ray Park?

Also the co pilot for Beckett’s team who died on the train heist was annoying.

I wonder if the things i disliked about the film were from Lorde and Miller

I didn't love Rio but I thought he had some charm. I certainly didn't hate the character.

Guy that played Han was terrible
L3 wtf

Who apparently worked with Park on the role. Sam recorded the dialogue and then went back in to rerecord when he saw Ray's performance. Pretty cool. But it bears the question, is that the recipe moving forward if Maul is to reappear in another film?

I think it would have to be. He is the voice of maul now as established for many many people. Vast majority of films have adr done post filming anyways. Especially Star Wars So it wouldn’t be a huge problem.

Funny enough, I think almost the entirety of the OT for example had to have the dialogue laid over in adr afterwards.
