fallout is making me consider buying it. Ive never played fallout anything.

Fallout 4 is how I remember Fallout 3. I know if I went back and played Fallout 3 I would be underwhelmed. 4 is a natural progression in the series.

Fallout 4 is amazing. The map is HUGE.

If you don't strip off the mods, you can get more materials. However, you're better off taking off the mods because some you may not be able to craft just yet. Also, legendary baddies drop gear/weapons with special abilities and you'll want the mods for those. I have a fully modded assassin 10mm that does extra damage against humans and has a suppressor on it to really make sneak attacks count

Also, the gun nut perk allows you to break down weapons into screws/gears

What games do you want to play? Systems are pretty similar.

At the moment: Fallout 4, Battlefront, GTA V, Just Cause 3. Don't need it for anything other than gaming, so other features are not part of the decider.
