You should understand that. Aren't you a big AC/DC fan? AC/DC couldn't lick the Stones' boot heels. No offense.

I like it so far. Maybe the fact that they are old men helps when it comes to blues.

But I'm a Stones fan in general.

The Stones are the greatest Greatest Hits band of all time

I dont love everything they've done but their best stuff is untouchable.

I'd say their best stuff is easily touched by many of their contemporaries.

Turns out I tend to like a lot of the stuff that people I respect seem to hate. Or I like a lot of the same artists but the tracks I like are the one's I'm not "supposed" to like and the one's I dislike or find little to connect to are the one's that "are the best."

Im into a big Marilyn Manson phase right now.

And its just Antichrist and Mechanical Animals...my two favorite from him. But not just that, im bought his book in Singapore last march and began reading it now...I miss guys like this, even if he wasnt that good anyway...there was a sense of danger with him, people really hated him or whatever he was saying at the time, i miss that in an artist.

I'll be honest, and I mean no disrespect here, but I never got a sense of danger or even authenticity from Marilyn Manson.

I like those two albums i mention there...and they still hold up pretty good. After that, yeah i dont think he found a very interesting path and the whole edge thing fell off.

But for a moment, there was something pretty cool about being a Manson fan.

There are a lot of things I miss about the '90's. Marilyn Manson is not one of them.

I loved Portrait of an American Family when I was in the sixth grade. Had a shirt and everything. And this was before Hot Topic, so I had to order it from an ad in Hit Parader.

Saw his band open for NIN near Halloween 1994...

I was petrified! Plenty of danger!! He was naked, and swinging around a giant, 3ft long penis!!!
