I have no doubt you'll keep asserting the same bullshit, so that none of you will have to actually demonstrate or debate whether any freedoms are in jeopardy in the first place. I know you guys are accustomed to dictating the frame through which everyone is allowed to talk about anything (using a hefty dose of emotional appeals/manipulation), but hopefully those days are long past.

I don’t get what that tweeter is laughing at.
That someone got hurt?
The idea to keep biological males in mens sports only?
What is she laughing at?

These are very empathetic people we're dealing with. It just turns out the emotion they feel when other people are hurt is ecstacy.

He's got a serious case of Twitter induced brain rot. It's actually really sad. He must drive the people around him crazy.

Dude really is working hard to make McP's claim that he's an empathetic person look absurd.

You're better off not knowing - look at what prolonged Twitter exposure has done to Dime,Burt and BI. They've all lost their minds.

using twitter's Grok AI:
The reactions are deeply polarized, with strong emotional responses on both sides. Critics of the post (majority in this thread) use historical Nazi references and terms like "genocidal" and "fascist" to condemn the exclusionary stance on transgender athletes, drawing on the web results about Nazi persecution of transgender people. Supporters and the poster themselves reject these labels, double down on their position, and frame transgender inclusion as illogical or unfair, often using provocative or dismissive language. The thread reflects broader cultural and political divides on transgender rights in sports, intensified by Trump’s executive order and recent NCAA policy changes mentioned in the web results.

Because Emma Vigeland is popular and influential podcast host and represents a specific type of Leftist that is active in the trans rights space. The activists don't care about cis-women or trans-women, they just want to watch their opponents suffer. Looking at the tweet she quoted, this girl did suffer a debilitating injury as the result of the actions of a trans athlete. Could have just as easily been caused by cis athlete and that would have been easy to point out, but Emma chose not to. Could have just as easily pointed out that Volleyball is an injury-inducing sport and it's extremely rare for college age kids of any gender identity to suffer that type of injury, but Emma chose not to. She could have expressed the slightest sympathy for a young girl whose life was forever altered, but Emma chose not to. She chose mockery. It gives her power in her social circles and lets her feel superior to others who may comment on this topic. Does this actually help find reasonable and just solutions to trans participation in sports? Does this push forward the trans cause as a national civil rights issue? Or, and I'm just spitballing here, is this really about appropriating an oppressed class's suffering as an excuse to abuse the outgroup? This approach trans rights is so toxic, Ezra Klein has called it out as the winning wedge issue for Republicans and California Governor Gavin Newsom has now publicly flipped over to the gender separated sports side. tldr: People who actually care about helping trans people should not be like Emma.
