Woke up at 5:30 this morning, saw a flash of lightning out the bedroom window, remembered how much it sucked running in hail that one time, decided to postpone. Laid there for a few minutes, checked the radar, saw the storm passing south of us, decided to go for it. Was rewarded by one of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever run in. Second only to the light pillars I saw last winter. And the rain never materialized.

Pretty excited for this 6-hour run this weekend. 13-16 trips around the 2-mile loop is the goal. Weather looks good, 50s/60s and sunny. Need to figure out which shoes to wear. It was supposed to be 100% trail (grass and dirt), but flooding closed part of the park so now it's gravel, road, and some trail. Probably just go with road shoes.

We should meet up for some pre sunrise prune juice sometime. Maybe go to the local pool to walk some laps?

Forgot to mention that I met Mina (from the RM Strava group) last Saturday.
She's super nice and super tiny.
We may do some track work together when it finally cools down.

I'm thinking about buying the pink breast cancer Kinvaras that just came out. I need some pink shoes.

I've never run in Reeboks, but those Floatrides are basically Vaporfly 4%s, but $50 cheaper.

I've read fantastic reviews on those but yeah...
Reebok? Kind of scares me off.
