Godspeed, good Farmer. I watched it like 12 years ago, but can’t remember if I split it up.
I see there's an intermission, so I might end up watching the second half tomorrow.
Ended up breezing through the whole thing fairly easily. Loved it.

That's awesome, I'm not sure I could do that. Glad you enjoyed it. I need to re-watch that sometime in the next 5 years.

It's movie night with my bros. I'm sure it's going to be something terrible. Will update later. Please pray for me.

I took little breaks, but was always eager to keep going.

I see why it's often mentioned as one of the greatest movies of all time. Some incredible shots and sequences.

Yeah I remember feeling similarly when I saw it back in the day, though I don't remember many details.

I haven't seen Coda but Tender Bar is a frustrating movie because it has so much potential. The writing is atrocious but it's really well made. The performances are good and Clooney brings over some of the directorial tricks he picked up from the Coens when it comes to composition and shot selection. But the writing is just so bad, and it kills it

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Disagree. I've loved all the films I've seen that he's directed. Dude knows what he's doing.
