they ain't making the playoffs this season, but they'll be near the bubblesouthp wrote:It will take a bitter 7-game playoff series before I hate the Wings but it's clear they are one of the teams to beat in the Atlantic div along with he Habs and Bolts. The Sens might be in the mix somewhere with the Panthers but those are young teams that could go either way.
What do we make of the Sabres then?

Fucking TSN has 45 minutes of Jays coverage before we get a single hockey highlight during Sportscentre.
How 'bout a little Habs vs. Wings this weekend. Should be a good one.

One of the greatest single games in any sport in the country's history, and you're upset that they didn't show mid-October hockey highlights?southp wrote:Fucking TSN has 45 minutes of Jays coverage before we get a single hockey highlight during Sportscentre.

You've grossly overestimated the importance of this game and how much the rest of the country cares.philpritchard wrote:One of the greatest single games in any sport in the country's history, and you're upset that they didn't show mid-October hockey highlights?southp wrote:Fucking TSN has 45 minutes of Jays coverage before we get a single hockey highlight during Sportscentre.

TV viewership averaged 4.85 million and peaked at 8.1 million. If you've watched a Jays game in Minnesota or Seattle, you know there are a ton of Jays fans across the country.southp wrote:You've grossly overestimated the importance of this game and how much the rest of the country cares.philpritchard wrote:One of the greatest single games in any sport in the country's history, and you're upset that they didn't show mid-October hockey highlights?southp wrote:Fucking TSN has 45 minutes of Jays coverage before we get a single hockey highlight during Sportscentre.
The average Canadian cares much, much more about what the Jays did in the deciding fifth game of their first playoff appearance in two decades than what the Sens, Habs or Oilers did in their 5th game of the regular season.

Very pleased with the Dallas Stars start so far. Benn will win an MVP someday. If not this year.

This place is so quiet when the Leafs and Bruins suck.
