look verb, normally i agree with you but that guy is 75 years old, it takes little to no force to knock him over. the fact that he was leaking as much as he was and the cops just walked over him and the one cop appears to chastise the one cop that even showed a tiny bit of concern should tell you who is in the wrong here.

also i dont believe the guy was out past the official curfew so there really was no need to strong arm him (and even if he was out past it). cops should only use the necessary force needed with someone, hence why they are sometimes charged with EXCESSIVE force

We can at least agree that being anywhere near a police officer puts your life in jeopardy.

Little shove or not, walking up on them too aggressively or not, I'm pretty sure a large part of the outrage is how they showed no concern for an old man who got injured so bad there was an immediate pool of blood coming from his head. I don't know if you're being serious or not.

one officer turned to, what look like, take care of him and was dragged away by another police officer.

He had a phone in one hand and was waving an empty hand. If they were afraid of him, god help us. Plus, an old man got too close while talking to you?? Isn't that just life? Cops should be aware of this behavior.

They weren't afraid of him. The cop lightly brushed him away and the guy stumbled around like one of the three stooges. Like I said, no idea why they thought it was okay to leave him there bleeding but to pretend this was on the level of some of the other police brutality we have seen in recent days is a bit much. It was more of a freak accident than a blood thirsty episode of violence.

I dunno man. I think we can all see it wasn't (by far) the most physically aggressive action we've seen, but there's a callousness here that seems really terrible.

I'm reading stuff now that says he was trying to return the cops riot helmet. I don't see any helmet. I just feel really weird about how much people are trying to use this as a wedge for their own narratives surrounding this situation.

If only they'd used their batons to break his skull. Then you might have something to be angry about!

He walked up to the cop with some sort of intent. He wasn't just standing there. I'm not a cop Joey but if you walked up to me like that I would shove you back in a the same sub aggressive way. If you fell over like some clumsy buffoon acting out slapstick comedy and cracked your head, I would make sure you got medical attention though.
