Very well could be. Before Attack of the Clones, his best-known role was probably Once Were Warriors (shout-out to the RM Film Club, you were too beautiful for this world), which was all about postcolonialism in New Zealand. I am sure the filmmakers were aware of his history.

But then does Leia's reaction to his name when Luke says Ben Kenobi in ANH also make you really happy? Doesn't this retcon make that moment even cooler? Because now she clearly knows him!

Literally anyone who thinks Moses Ingram isn't a fantastic actor doesn't know anything about acting. She's fucking great in this show.

I fucking love how Leia doesn't make the jump in this. But she does make the jump in Princess of Alderaan when someone else's life is at stake.

The show wants us to think OBW is talking about Padme when he take Leia that she reminds him of another stubborn leader he's known in the past but I like to think that he's talking about Satine.

I watched the 3rd episode with my daughter And she loved it.
