Ed did Far Behind and then Constellations with Jack Johnson.

At first, it seems like an improved version of the Unthought Known/Lightning Bolt kind of song structure but then more layers reveal themselves on repeat listens. It is very good.PHATJ wrote:Everybody’s coming around.96583UP wrote:Seven O'Clock is better than I remembered
No way really? I thought that was just a joke!theplatypus wrote:I thought "Better Man (live)" was just a recurring joke but it actually is the Backspacer bonus track on Spotify (and I'm guessing on other places)
Both Backspacer and Lightning Bolt are at the bottom for me, it I still insist that if that ends up being their floor then that’s a pretty decent damn floor. They aren’t great albums but they both have their moments and at least hold the fort until their more creative impulses returned. It wasn’t a full on fall off the cliff.burl jam wrote:No way really? Anyhow my random thoughts of late are that the artwork for Backspacer and LB reflected the almost lighter production and songs.
Also Lightning Bolt is the band's Reload and No Line On The Horizon-a sound and or method that has as such been exhausted.
Yeah, PJ never went full-on “Billy Breathes” mode like Phish did, which you gotta respect.liebzz wrote:Both Backspacer and Lightning Bolt are at the bottom for me, it I still insist that if that ends up being their floor then that’s a pretty decent damn floor. Neil on guitar is pretty apparent, but I had no idea that Brendan was on bassgardenparty wrote:I Got Id
Ed Vedder - Guitar, Vocals
Jack Irons - drums
Brendan O'Brien - Bass
Neil Young - Lead guitar
funny one of the best Pearl Jam songs isn't actually Pearl Jam.
Think i knew this at one time but totally forgot
Ed and Jack were there, and Brendan is doing his Jeff A impression i would say. Neil is the only one who cant be copied there.gardenparty wrote:I Got Id
