I really want to watch this one again. Loved it so hard.
I have tried to watch it again and have this far been unable to bring myself to do it. Not because I don't like (I loved it) but because it fucks me up and I'm scared of that feeling
I thought Nocturnal Animals was excellent but I have little desire to rewatch it. Very dark film
I totally get that in both you guys’ account. It didn’t f me up, but it’s definitely brutal and a bit disturbing.

I feel like Cage is trying to create a powerful experience. Leto is just trying to make it about him.

Or maybe it's just charisma. Leto has none.

Man, Nocturnal Animals is good. I'm glad we can all agree on that one after VG's atrocious Spielberg take in the last page

Watched Lamb, which I really loved. Feel the need to update my 2021 list now

My wife watched this a few weeks ago and wasn’t terribly impressed, despite being a Tom Ford die-hard. We both loved A Single Man.
I think it's a huge step up from A Single Man

I really like both of them, but I'd agree it's a better film than A Single Man overall.

It's crazy to think that the guy in House of Gucci that they hired as a designer went on to direct Nocturnal Animals.

I thought it tied the discussion together pretty nicely!

Now, if only I could find a connection to Lamb and West Side Story...

Spencer.

Such a great great movie. Exquisite framing, amazing score, great sound design, marvelous photography and the best of all, Kirsten fucking Stewart again, being the star that she is.

She is just so fucking intense and out there, she is reaching Nic Cage levels of greatness for me.

Happy Drive my Car day on HBO Max to all who celebrate. Probably won't have a chance to watch until this weekend though.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
