Would it be too much to ask if someone could kindly add the “better quality mp3” link to Running to the first post in this thread?

You’re (we’re) caught in a tunnel
And the tunnel’s getting flooded
Like the sewage and the plumbing
Cause we left the fucking water running
I’m getting a kick out these lyrics actually.

EDIT: No you're right that's the chorus, I too love it.

But did you only factor the first letter of the first word of each song title or first letter of each word if each song title? Merits new analysis.stip wrote:Like I would even begin this conversation without plans to do this for all studio albums. The song titles on Dark Matter lean really heavy into the back half of the alphabet
1. Scared of Fear 4:24
2. React, Respond 3:31
3. Wreckage 5:00
4. Dark Matter 3:31
5. Won't Tell 3:28
6. Upper Hand 5:57
7. Waiting for Stevie 5:41
8. Running 2:19
9. Something Special 4:07
10. Got to Give 4:37
11. Setting Sun 5:44
9 out of the 11 song titles (82%) come from the back 65% of the alphabet. How significant is this on a scale of very to extremely?
now do all studio record song titles. would love to see a normal distribution. Stone is surely making this happen if we see a typical bell curve.

just the first letter of the first word. Maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but didn't they have to use Shangri-La because Watt's studio was flooded? Wonder if that kind of wiggled itself into the lyrics/concept of "Running."

Yeah that's probably going to suck. I'm also worried about Wreckage being a clunky ballad after the opening 1-2 punch of rockers.Ms Harmless wrote:Running into Something Special could be a really jarring transition

Wreckage is a highlight of the metal door leak. I don't think it's a ballad? Hasn't it been described as more mid-tempo?

Hard to believe those lyrics were made up on the spot.

Its been described as acoustic chimey Tom Petty esque. Maybe not quite a ballad but who knowsMonkey_Driven wrote:Wreckage is a highlight of the metal door leak. I don't think it's a ballad? Hasn't it been described as more mid-tempo?
