Yeah, the Braves have pretty much stunk out loud since the Break. They'll be under .500 after this coming series with the A's.

I'm starting to feel like this is the year that Oakland finally makes a run in the playoffs. The AL is weak this year, and Oakland's lineup isnt that bad when stacked up against NL teams.

And we all know what Detroit does in the playoffs.

I like their rotation better than Detroit's anyway.

I feel like Beane has finally started to scrap his "the playoffs are a crapshoot, so fuck it" philosophy, the Lester acquisition at least signifies that.

yeah but even without proven arms their pitching has never really been what cost them playoff series

It's all coming back to me yes.

When I guessed the question I got all correct but White Sox (which is now wrong) and Toronto. When I heard White Sox was an "answer" it didn't sound correct to me either.

I always thought Danks would be much better. Was pissed as hell when the Rangers traded him for Brandon McCarthy.

He looked really good from 2008-2010. After his shoulder surgery in 2012 he's been pretty terrible though. For a split second it looked like Danks and Gavin Floyd were gonna anchor the rotation for years to come.

I like what I have seen out of Quintana and I doubt it takes Rodon a long time to get to Chicago. I loved what I saw when I watched him pitch in Omaha last summer. That could potentially be three quality lefties in the same rotation. With that Sale guy.

Sometimes I think Quintana has what it takes to be a #2 starter. The numbers suggest he's very close to it. I'd feel much better with him as a third though.

They're saying Rodon could end up pitching for the Sox in September. I'm looking forward to seeing what he's made of.

I think Nola (who they are saying the Phils will call up in Sept) will be better than Rodon but I love what I have seen out of both.

Eh. At least he's been ok the last few years. Uggla, BJ Upton and Chan Ho Park were much worse.

Dodgers do have that contract for 3 more years after this year haha.
