It's kinda like the human body version of flushing the toilet with too much poop and the water rises and rises. Your eyes widen, pulse increases. And at the last moment it flushes down.

Are eating contests particularly a US thing? Like, "eat this 48 ounce ribeye in 45 minutes and get a t-shirt". I'm sure that exists elsewhere but is that primarily a weird American flex?

Eat daikon. Slop it in whatever if that helps. It’s so good for you.

one time when the restaurant was out of sprouts, i had them put daikon in my pho. it was a terrible combination and ruined it for me.

That is unfortunate but with pho could you have eaten around the daikon easily enough?
I’ve finally come to appreciate sprouts, sandwiches only so far.

A cold chicken leg is as good as it gets. I’d be sad to think otherwise.

Delicious. Much more appreciated when it’s cold because you’re scrounging.

You're out of your minds. Cold chicken is great, but hot rotisserie chicken is S tier.

Yes but you’re expecting hot chicken to be great and it is. Cold chicken is like finding the light at the end of the tunnel.

You prefer cold over hot?

Not necessarily, but when you have to go to cold chicken it probably means you are hungry at a time when there aren’t any hot foods immediately available. In that situation, a piece of cold chicken leg or thigh hits the spot like few foods can.
