What is your greatest baseball play?
striking out in the 9th on espn and losing by 1 to Oklahoma state
Let's go with something positive.
hitting for the cycle and then going to 7-11 for a couple chili cheese dogs and a big gulp
Now that is one hell of a day, Doug Railroad.

Cheers.

Not sure on that one.

Wait...a few years ago didn't he post about making 300 3-pointers in a day, or something absurd like that?

Spike - that was a flag football game.

Lenny - that was a competition of 1,000 three pointers over five sessions of 200 each. I made a total of 691 AND LOST.

But my greatest achievement was probably in junior high when I made the spring league basketball all star team, and we had a big co-ed game with the girls all stars, and I scored 34 points because, you know, half the defenders were girls.

what's your definition of "woke?" it seems like it's a term that's thrown around with impunity regardless of the situation or context, and now i'm confused.

I think it's just a way of classifying a person as being of an extremely progressive political persuasion.

Woke (adjective):
- Thinks there is such a thing as free lunch and doesn’t understand that someone has to pay for it.
- Everything … EVERYTHING … is racist.

I think that about covers it.

Ask 10 people what communism or capitalism is specifically, and you'll likely get 10 different answers, though broadly speaking I'd say that wokeness refers to a ideology (complete with praxis and pedagogy), consisting of things like group identity, equity, compensatory discrimination, oppressor/victim dichotomy, "progressive stack", and several other concepts, largely based on the works of grifters like ibram x kendi, Robin DiAngelo and others. And IMO it has a mountain of contradictions and other problems, but largely serves the interests of those in power, which is why its been so ascendant recently.
