Pretty sure Joey is just gaslighting us at this point.

I'd rather see just about anyone direct anything than Zemeckis ever again in my life. ... fuck, I hate Robert Zemeckis so much. What a fucking joke that guy is. Has there ever been anyone as successful but less deserving? I'm having a hard time thinking of anyone. YUCK.

He meant his lesser known brother, Larry Zemeckis.

But then there's this!
durdencommatyler wrote: And I don't hate Zemeckis. Again, I was being dramatic. He has a handful of films that I really enjoy. Cast Away isn't a bad movie. I just don't think it's as good as it should have been. But I do actually like the movie despite its flaws. And I like Contact, like A LOT. Way more than most people. Just felt like I had to clarify. Zemeckis can be really good, I just think he has a tendency to (what I would call) over-direct his films.

The Rock shares plot details from his forthcoming Rampage film (based on the arcade game):
I head up an anti poaching unit out of Rwanda. My best friend is a rare albino gorilla named, George. Very bad people infect George, an alligator and a wolf with a serum. All three animals grow at an unprecedented rate. Their size, speed, agility and violent aggression is off the charts. They go on a deadly rampage and want to destroy the world. George not happy. Me not happy. When animals like you, they lick you. When they don't like you, they kill you. I will hunt down the bad people who did this to my best friend. And when I find them, I will not lick them.
This might be the single greatest plot synopsis I've ever seen.

A...Rampage....film? I don't care how much charisma the man has, that's going to be a tough sell.
And it's going to have Andy Serkis as George, isn't it.
