The medic team, made of EMTs and doctors, said the medical station was approved by the city. They also sprayed the medical supplies with gas so that anyone who used them would get chemical burns.

This obviously isn’t all racial. Cops have been free to be fuckers for a long time. And they kill indiscriminately. This man was killed by police in the same fashion that George Floyd was killed, but he was white, so you may not have heard about him. Still, this shit isn’t necessarily motivated by race.

The footage showing the August 2016 death of Tony Timpa in Dallas shows an officer pinning him to the ground with his hands cuffed behind him for nearly 14 minutes as the 32-year-old eventually becomes unresponsive. Officers are heard joking that Timpa had fallen asleep, with one yelling "five more minutes, mom!"

Timpa's death in the parking lot of an adult video store came after he called 911, saying he was off his medication for schizophrenia and depression and needed help. Questions about what happened in the moments leading to his death have swirled as city officials argued against the release of the body camera footage, according to the Dallas Morning News, but a judge on Monday sided with news outlets who had sought to make the video public.

Question: was George Floyd actually identified as the guy that tried to pass the fake Jackson or was it just a case of “there’s a black guy, it must’ve been him!”?

The store owner knew Floyd from the neighborhood. Apparently he pointed Floyd out.

But I wasn’t there, so I’m not positive. That’s what was reported here locally.

Literally the kindest assumption you can make about cops that still explains all their behavior trends is that they aren’t more racist than the rest of America...they’re just a band of opportunistic murderers and bullies, and they target minorities more often because they count on *America’s* racism to default it into giving them the benefit of the doubt. And it works almost every time.

Actually, I was sent that story. I didn’t look for it. I didn’t know about it.

And for the elevendy gagillionth time, I do not support the police. I haven’t from the beginning. I was supporting protests outside of cops homes weeks before this George Floyd murder happened. Can all of you get that through your thick skulls? I can’t even count how many times I’ve said I support peaceful protests. I can’t count how many times I’ve said Floyd was murdered and all the cops involved needed to be arrested and sentenced to the longest term possible. The only thing I haven’t supported It rioting, looting, and destroying the city.

You guys accuse me of not being nuanced, but this group I’m talking to refuses to actually pay attention to anything except their own voices. I get accused of supporting and saying things constantly here. You tell me to explain why I defend things I’ve never defended.

In other areas of political discussion I have, I’m often accused of being too moderate. Posting on RM, in News and Debate, is like walking into a scene in Inglorious Bastards. Anyone with an opposing view is hiding under the floorboards waiting for the rabid leftists to smell us out. I’m just one of the only people here that legitimately doesn’t care what you guys think about me. So I’m not hiding anymore. I don’t pedestalise your clicks or believe in your gobblygook. I don’t think anyone here is especially important. And I certainly don’t give two shits if it upsets any of your sensitive emotions that I make waves in your tranquil pool of one thought fits all.
