I was ok with the Dragic trade. Giving up the Lakers pick in the other trade made no sense to me.

They're what, the third-winningest franchise in the NBA over the last 20 years and have nothing to show for it. And that has everything to do with a lack of toughness and defensive effort (see the Nash years) and they basically forced out the one player who has those qualities. The Suns front office is a mess and totally disingenuous. For them to say that Goran was a selfish player is fucking crazy and runs completely opposite of what EVERYONE has said about him and his play on the court. Yes, he demanded a trade, but they already had a log-jam at PG and then they brought in dip-shit Isaiah Thomas and made no secret that they were shopping him around. Fuck the Suns.

The Suns are a horrible franchise. The Bledsoe negotiation in the off season was a joke as was the signing of Isaiah Thomas. They only needed Dragic yet they end up with 3 starting point guards. How about going out and offering big money to Monroe or someone at another position other than the one position you have solidified! If they would have thrown in a pick they could have done a sign and trade for Monroe. I think the Suns will always be one of those teams who get decent to good but never win anything.

The Suns have some good young players, but this whole "accumulating assets" approach can blow up in your face when emotions and players lives are factored. The Thomas signing made sense in a vacuum but they didn't consider Dragic's development or happiness.

Yeah, I don't understand what's happening with that at all. I thought Love was going to be a perfect complement for LeBron.

The Rockets and Clippers are going to make excellent villains in the playoffs.

I know this is bizarre to say about a team that's 23-35, but I like the way Boston plays and I'd like them to make a push into the playoffs. Stevens is a hell of a coach.

I'm with you there.

I really hope they get some elite talent through free agency, trades, or the draft soon. I want to see what Stevens can do when the cupboard is full.

Kawhi was amazing last night. Super aggressive. Physically dominating. It's nights like that when I can see him becoming a superstar and a franchise guy.

Also, Westbrook had a pretty good night too.

He played great defense had a terrific block, if I cared about hollow useless box scores id watch Westbrook.
