i was helping serve food at an event 5 or 6 years ago and the lady preparing the food made a pilaf from scratch...i can't remember what all she included, but it was really good

no, rice pilaf is where each piece of rice has a tan spot on one end

Tonight is takeout tacos from San Antonio Taco Company. Chili tacos. Soooooooooooo good.
( Yes, I realize I said I was tired of tacos. But c'mon. It's tacos. With chili in them.)
