Chris's little grin around 1:55 after singing the first higher register lines is priceless.

I remember a lot of skepticism about how he would handle singing the more challenging SG material, having sounded pretty shaky during much of the 2000s - he really pulled it together when SG reformed.
Fucking awesome.

Yeah this reminds me of when I saw them in 2011 and was completely blown away at how proficient and heavy all of it was. They were rarin' to go.

My 1 & only Soundgarden show. Incredible night. I still have the paper wristband with "Nudedragons" written on it. No tickets were even printed.

That's fuckin awesome dude. `

Seems like just the other day the entire reunion just seemed like a pipe dream and how quickly it came and went. You guys remember the Cinnabun joke where they got together in the mall? Damn....

Hey has there been an all things Cornell tourney? Soundgarden, Temple, Solo and Audioslave all in play?

One of the attendees of the marriage ceremony also saw the true colors of the bride and expressed concern about her and her family’s shady vibe to people around the singer.

Sadly, she died herself under mysterious circumstances later.
This is Brittany Murphy btw.

I posted that article last night in the RIP CC thread, which was clearly most appropriate. The Soundgarden thread is no place for shameful gossip like this.

Talk about King Animal or something. "A Thousand Days Before" is a really good song.
I wasn't trying to make light of someone dying just that the article read like Cornell's wife had someone killed because they voiced concerns about her. Seemed a little over the top.

I remember when videos of this first started popping up online (I believe the first official video from the SG camp was 'Beyond the Wheel'), the first song from the set I went to was Beyond the Wheel. His voice was so hit and miss in the 2000s I was surprised it was on the setlist... As noted... that fucking grin he gets after he first hits those highs, along with the cheers of the crowd... Too awesome... I remember thinking "Holy shit, Soundgarden is BACK...this is REALLY happening..."

Can't find a "modern" rendition of NTMF, Switch Opens, An Unkid...

EDIT: Just found Never The Machine Forever. Still no Switch Opens, An Unkind and Never Named :/

Im not huge on the harder songs (like Pretty Noose, Rhinossaur or Dusty), nor the singles (BIMH, BUTOW), but EVERYTHING ELSE is fucking gold.
