Strong rumours doing the rounds that it’s Ewan’s obi wan we’ll see responding to Grogu reaching out on that stone.
He was in costume (reported as ‘for a fitting’) and on that Volume set while they filmed.

Story wise it makes sense. It means Grogu doesn’t have to go with Luke. And he could possibly know obi wan from the temple as he is a master where Ahsoka never was. (‘Grogu has had several masters’ - Ahsoka)
Also nice tie in reminder for general public. Who would know Ewan McGregors obi wan and wouldn’t know Ezra/ cal etc

Still, i also didnt wanted any force ghosts at that TROS ending. After i watched the actual ending i thought yeah, maybe that was better

I was absolutely NOT all about that in TROS.

If a Force Ghost reaches out, it would be Yoda, not Obi-Wan. Then it can be revealed that Yoda is Grogu's clone father, a la Boba and Jango. There is a clone army of Yodas out there, just waiting. And Grogu shall lead them all. Grogu shall reign over the universe, with Force Ghost Daddy Yoda
