That's cool. I didn't mean to call anyone, in particular out. I've edited my post to better reflect my view. It's an interesting discussion nonetheless.

Hey, I dig the press build-up for this one. I'm accustomed to and conditioned by years of borderline unhinged hyperbole from Mike, but, now Daddy Ed is throwing the hype hadoukens and Jeff is tearing up at press events?
This is new ground! I'm semi-hard.

These clips are driving me crazy. And the waiting.
Waiting for friday so I have new Waxahatchee and Adrianne Lenker records to make the wait easier
Love both of those so much. Seeing Big Thief live is still one of the best concerts I’ve been to

I’m having good fun looking forward to this. I hope it doesn’t leak.

These guys get into a room (at least this go around) and come up with stuff that sounds good to their collective ears.
As Ed has said, it’s important to the band as a whole to make sure each guy gets his color of paint on their work.
So, in what way is that inauthentic?
You seem to have a really hard time with RM having discussions beyond "yea! yay pearl jam this rules i cant wait!"
Please calm down. This isn't the Pit.
Nah, DDW makes great points. Not exactly sure why someone is telling him to calm down haha such an odd and patronizing response.

Can’t wait to see what PJ40 tix go for!
Christ. They’ll all be pushing or over 70 by that point. I’m not sure I want to see that.

You think it’s reasonable for the drummer to spend his life mastering the tone of his instrument just for some pop producer to vomit on it?
You think someone with Matt Cameron’s talent and experience went thru recording this album not knowing how the producer worked and what his other projects sound like?

I think DDE made a great point about guys getting into a room and banging out a record they all seem excited about. That’s it.
The response of telling him to calm down was strange and telling someone “they have a really hard time” with discussions is patronizing as I pointed out. Seems strange to me. Your reference to vomit seems pretty strange too but hey man to each their own!

I don’t drink right now. Might start again someday. Depends entirely on feel.

I don’t know how much you lurk, but I’m guessing that in your 101 posts, you haven’t conversed with Strat very much
