i never listened to hail to the thief very much but i always though backdrifts was great

It's one of their worst albums but they're so damn good that it doesn't mean much. Still far above 99% of other artists.

i love 'hail to the thief' so i think everything about this is great. i'd put it above the last two albums.

I don't hate TKOL or AMSP; they're both simply not the Radiohead for me.
My Radiohead quit at the height of their powers with a glorious In Rainbows, and haven't really figured out how to follow that up.

Hail to the Thief is second only to Kid A for me. Tremendous record.

it's good, but not great by radiohead standards. it's uneven and too bloated. it could've been reduced by 3 songs or so.

I really enjoyed Hail to the Thief when I last listened to it, but I can pretty comfortably say this is accurate for me as well.
