I only just tried that one for the first time a few weeks ago, but I couldn't get through two episodes.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Anyway, the HBO weed dealer show is excellent. I'd strongly suggest you start with E2 (they are all standalone eps), as the pilot was easily the worst of the bunch.
TJ Miller and Adam Pally were in a movie called Search Party. I realized that was wrong, so I was looking up the TV show so I could find reasons not to watch that one. Can't find any, yet

I watched a couple more episodes of Glow last night. It's still really uneven and forced at times. But episodes 5 and 6 are probably the best so far. This thing could end up being alright. We'll see.

LOVED Maron's line: "Babies are boring! I mean, they don't party, they haven't traveled, they have no sense of irony."

Might be the quote of the year.

MeTv is running half hour cuts of the old Carol Burnett show at 11pm. Those take me back to being a kid and watching them after the Braves games on the old TBS Channel 17. I've seen nearly all of them before but they can still make me laugh, particularly Tim Conway hamming it up.
Last night they had the one with the very first Family sketch; that one was new to me.

Yeah, Glow improves. Or maybe it just grew on me. I was enjoying it by the end.

So you finished it? Does it seem ready made for a second season? Or is it a one and done, do you think?

Something about women in spandex beating the shit out of each other really turned me on.

That's like half of what the Netflix series is making fun of!

Giving Dr. Katz a try after hearing from one of the creators on Bullseye yesterday. This show is pretty hilarious. Looks like quite a few episodes are available on YouTube.
