I’m not going to watch the sketch. Any actor goes on SNL now is a moron.

But shamalamadingdong did a pretty good job with at least two of the songs in the film

Watched all 4 episodes of the doc. Great stuff. The last is all about season 11 which is the season I truly became a regular viewer.

Farting as a main crux of a sketch...fuckin hell.

Cold open was good.
Bounce House Studio was fun.

That is all

?! Shocked they’re opening up about S11. Looking forward to that.
The Lorne and Tom Davis footage were from something that was shot in 2005. Looked to be some sort of documentary. I’d like to see whatever that project was.

Everyone was quite up front and forthright. It was a great commentary about that season.

tragabigzanda wrote:Haven’t watched yet but are you sure it’s from 2005? Franco’s doc was filmed in 2008, so I wonder if it’s from that.

I’m curious to see Davis. His autobiography painted a fairly chaotic picture.
Yes. At the top it says “filmed in 2005.”

I'm halfway through E3, the first two were terrific and I was pleasantly surprised to see Homme and Grohl in E3.

Vanessa Bayer
Aidy Bryant
Cecily Strong
They're all at least 7/10 (Bayer is maybe the strongest of the three) but I think McKinnon is at least 9/10.
Turned out that Cecily was the strongest player from this trio but all three were at least 8/10.

I think it has to do with music licensing, which has been a constant challenge for them in the streaming era. Both performances and skits that rely on licensed music are problematic for international markets; a lot of time the original song in a skit will get changed for streaming or syndication.
That is probably why. Thank you.

Why was this never a problem for Letterman and other talk shows?
