These guys get into a room (at least this go around) and come up with stuff that sounds good to their collective ears.
As Ed has said, it’s important to the band as a whole to make sure each guy gets his color of paint on their work.
So, in what way is that inauthentic?
You seem to have a really hard time with RM having discussions beyond "yea! yay pearl jam this rules i cant wait!"
Please calm down. This isn't the Pit.
Nah, DDW makes great points. Not exactly sure why someone is telling him to calm down haha such an odd and patronizing response.
You think it’s reasonable for the drummer to spend his life mastering the tone of his instrument just for some pop producer to vomit on it?
What are the odds the guys didn’t understand what they signed up for working with wottman?
Just a thought.
If MC felt like his skill set (which he spent decades mastering as you put it) or his reputation, would be harmed by working with wottman, then he’s engaging in self sabotage?
Doesn’t add up….

You’re right. I was way out of line.
And that’s exactly what this band preaches too. Groupthink. Right?

I just finished reading that Mojo interview...yeah, i liked it for what it is, it could have been so much better but its still ok. I did get a little emotional, and i guess ill be that way when the album release, with Ed talking about being more conscious about living in the present because of age, and again PJ kinda talks about something thats been on my mind since 2020 maybe.
The fact that we he is already talking about the band having one or two more albums got me hard.

Who's the snitch that dropped a dime on Reddit?
My guess is the person with 57 posts who first posted it.

this album sounds good to me so far team
I think it'll sit nicely above Backspacer and Lightning Bolt, possibly even S/T
