Played the first episode of Game of Thrones. Much better framerate and loading times on the PS4 compared to the PS3 versions of other Telltale games.
I did not. Should I?jwfocker wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm going to replay Bloodborne. I've been seeing it on several GOTY lists and now I can't stop thinking about it.

Did you pick up the DLC/expansion for bloodborne?

Star Wars: Battlefront is a blast. It's not deep, and as someone mentioned it does skew heavily towards established players, but once you start figuring things out, it really is non-stop fun. The Jakku and Walker Assault missions are the best, and the game really opens up once you get beyond the early phase of running around and shooting at anything that moves. Taking cover and using more advanced weaponry brings in a real element of skill.
I'm skipping the season pass for now. The only DLC they've released so far is free, and it's a must-get (the battle on Jakku). I'll revisit the season pass concept as they release more stuff, but my hope is that I'll max out my character and move on to The Division before I feel like the season pass is necessary -- so sometime in March.bada wrote:I'm the same. I don't want to buy the game, then DLC\Season Pass and PS+. Too much. I'm gonna have to get PS+ for Uncharted Multiplayer but that's a few months out.
Yeah its substantial. Tons of new crazy weapons and bosses. Very high level though.Monkey_Driven wrote:I did not. Should I?jwfocker wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm going to replay Bloodborne. I've been seeing it on several GOTY lists and now I can't stop thinking about it.

Yeah you gain access about halfway through the game. Just do not access it on a new game plus play-through unless you want to hate everything and constantly punch yourself in the face because the expansion is brutal.Monkey_Driven wrote:Just read up on it some more.jwfocker wrote:Yeah its substantial. I'll have to buy it before I start my next play through. Is it accessible during a regular new game?
I would prefer not to punch myself in the face. Thanks for the advice.jwfocker wrote:Yeah you gain access about halfway through the game. one of the writers for polygon decided to not start a new game and went ahead and played it on his current new game plus character and said it was absolutely brutal.Monkey_Driven wrote:I would prefer not to punch myself in the face. Luckily, I have a save file on a USB stick right before the final boss. I wonder if I am able to go back and play the DLC on that save file with a full leveled character.jwfocker wrote:one of the writers for polygon decided to not start a new game and went ahead and played it on his current new game plus character and said it was absolutely brutal.Monkey_Driven wrote:I would prefer not to punch myself in the face. I've heard good things. It sounds like they're going to take this year off with the series. I think that needed to happen years ago.bond wrote:Playing through Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Surprisingly really good!
Yeah, big time. I've generally enjoyed most of the games in the series, but yeah serious over saturation.Monkey_Driven wrote:I've heard good things.
