Im actually exited about the Justice League movie with Steppenwolf as the main villain.
Im confused because i thought Darkseid was a really good choice, but i guess he will be shown in some capacity.

I was as reluctant as you tommy. I'm glad I watched it. It didn't feel like three hours and was altogether a better film.

Here's my pitch: reboot Superman, cast Donald Trump as Lex, but don't tell him it's a movie. Let him think he's actually fighting Superman. His natural reactions will be perfect.

It turns out i mostly just agree with all the complaints and 2/3 of the compliments stated about this movie. Its a mostly decent movie that is sometimes more than dumb enough to be funny (my goodness sand batman moves slowly). Having a huge setup for another movie a third of the way into this, that no one really reacts to cos future message lol, makes most of the rest of this movie (all 3 hours of it) feel oddly perfunctory. Like i guess im sitting through the next 2 hours just to get to that next thing now...?

My wife just described this as a movie about a menopausal Batman and a Superman who can smell all the farts. A fart joke would have been welcome.
