As the chief of the executive branch, the ability to get things done is literally the most important qualification. Otherwise it’s just:

If he’s bad at getting things done, then you shouldn’t have to worry about his socialism. In fact, a tepid Sanders presidency would be both a nice change of pace from today’s chaos, and a disillusioning moment for all the progressives leaning towards socialism. Win-win.
Lots of good polling for Bernie these last couple of days. He's closed the gap with black voters and leads among Hispanics. If this is even close to the results by the end of Super Tuesday, there may be no stopping him.
