I thought that was the best match of the show.

that ending is most likely a work, but it really made me believe Brock was unhinged

Typical WWE creative meeting:
"Should we end the PPV with the new champion holding the belt over his head as thousands of fans cheer for him?"
"We could...or we could end it with two straight matches featuring barely any wrestling and no real finishes."
::everyone nods::

I've gotta say, the way that crowd shit all over Balor vs Rollins was a disgrace. Just because the new belt is stupid looking, it doesn't mean you take it out on those two guys. I'd rethink putting Summerslam in Brooklyn next year, this isn't the first time that crowd has done something like that.

Aj vs Cena was the clear match of the night. Cena has been on fire lately and aj is just fantastic.

This seems to be the consensus, and I'm on board; it was very entertaining. Glad they had Cena put him over (especially after watching Jericho pin another rising star earlier in the night).
Where does Styles go from here? Immediate feud with Ambrose? Or does he have to earn his shot by beating someone else? Does Samoa Joe get called up to Smackdown soon, and does be enter that picture as well?

I could see Styles moving on to Ambrose now, and taking the belt. Unless Ambrose-Ziggler goes another round, then maybe they put AJ with Orton. I'd love to see Joe get called up, but I actually think he fits the Raw roster better than the SD roster.

With how lame the match was, I doubt Dean and Dolph go at it again.
AJ Styles makes me so happy

Story-line wise, Dolph really doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to asking for a rematch: he was beaten cleanly and decisively. If they want to drag things out for a bit, have Dolph and Styles feud briefly for the #1 contendership, then have Ambrose face the winner.
The upcoming PPVs are going to be branded, according to Wikipedia (next one's Raw, then alternating until Survivor Series with features both). Should help with the clogging of some future PPVs, but you never know.

Does smackdown have the roster to pull off a whole ppv? I'm not convinced.

He's so goddamned good. His performance last night reminded me of Shawn Michaels, and no one(including favs like Bryan and Punk) has had me like "man, that was like a Michaels match" since he retired.

They have the roster to pull off a 2 hour PPV. Even with 3 hours, just let the guys actually go for 25 minutes.

I was just thinking that a 2-hour ppv would be a great idea. It does seem like they're committing to 2 ppvs per month except for August, November, January, and March, so why not just cut them down to 2 except for the 4 flagship.ones?

If they didn't treat the women's and tag division like an afterthought (even the Ambrose match) like on summerslam, they'll be fine

So Balor is hurt and has to give up the belt, WTF. I could see Vince never pushing him again.
