Like i guess im sitting through the next 2 hours just to get to that next thing now...?
You mean the Flash thing, right? The fact that it follows the "Knightmare" sequence, that it's not really addressed at all for the rest of the movie, and that Bruce wakes up from it while clutching his chest (almost as if he were reacting to Superman exploding his heart from within, or whatever the hell he was doing to his chest at the end of the Knightmare) makes me think that it was tacked on during reshoots. Also the fact that it brings the narrative to a halt (which I guess you could also say about the Knightmare, since it could also be interpreted as future-setup, but 1. that was kinda cool, and 2. it goes along with the motif of Bruce's weird PTSD nightmares that runs through the movie). Diana scrolling through computer files in her hotel room had the same tacked-on feel.

Batman's scrolly email was one of the best jokes this movie had to offer.

I already loved this movie, but the UE really does clarify it. The narrative and themes are laser-focused now.

Wasn't dime talking about how they had a coffin with no body or something? Because the body is definitely in there.

There are two funerals at the end, one in Metropolis (for "Superman") and one in Kansas (for Clark). At Clark's funeral Bruce says something like "all the circus is back east, carrying an empty box".

I'm watching this right now, and Eisenberg has almost made me switch it off in every scene he's in. Other than that though, it's not bad so far.
