Yeah, the new record is pretty damn good now that I'm getting a chance to listen to it a bit more. I feel it fits nicely with their previous output.

Really enjoying the new album, took a few listens to get into, which surprised me cause now I think it's pretty accessible. I Should Live In Salt is sublime.

Tis a gorgeous tune, prob my favorite on the new album.

I like it, to be sure. But there's so many great songs on that album, I would put it at about the 4th or 5th best.

Fun fact: it's written to Matt's brother.

Salt is def in my top 3, but has often been my favorite/the one i always gravitate towards.

Humiliation is still the best song on the record.

Graceless, Don't Swallow The Cap, Demons, I Should Live in Salt, I Need My Girl and Pink Rabbits are all fucking awesome.

The rest are really, really good too.

The National are an amazing band. The best there is going right now.
