Wow, no shit? Everyone tells me to watch that show.
Meh. It gets very same-y after a while; even my wife, who was dedicated and the reason I watched it, gave up on it after a time.

You could hear every single note. Definitely the highlight of the show for me.
yeah, but my guess is that they were quiet because it's a slower tune. I think only a handful among us truly knew what was going on....which makes it kind of cool.
I can only imagine how fun it would have been to be in the vicinity of someone explaining to anyone within earshot what was going on.
The first thing that comes to mind is chud explaining the infield fly rule to no one in particular.
I couldn’t believe no one in my section knew what was going on.
I was in A5, very close to the stage, and I didn't notice anyone noticing it. But I didn't shout it out from the rooftops, because initially I wasn't 100 percent sure. There could be others like me....
I give everyone the benefit of the doubt--I didn't nudge anyone, either, just enjoyed it.
You know what else was a weird moment? When Ed talked during the intro to Wasted Reprise, the place got dead silent--like, pin-drop level. I feel like it was because he mentioned ALS and that is a trigger word for people to think, "Oh, this is serious."
Also lol at the people who take their hat off when Mike plays the anthem.
Weirdest moment for me was when Ed started to cry, I think, when talking about how they are regular guys leading regular lives in Seattle, and then when they show up at a city and all these people show up they freak in amazement

Got really emotional talking about Petty night 1, too.

I wanted to point out we made through the stadium tour without a single Fuxer, Sirens, or Last Kiss. A blessing

A few days removed now, while I enjoyed the shows and thought they were good, I really don’t like Fenway as a venue for them. It was cool a couple years ago for the novelty of it, but this set up is not good for a concert and especially the kind of “event” a PJ show is. Give me Mansfield any day, but I fear that Fenway is the Boston outdoor venue going forward.

"The Pearl Jam singer wore a backward Red Sox batting helmet as he delivered “Out of My Mind,” which the band hasn’t played in over a decade."
Fake news.

yup, Boston and Chicago are pretty much chained to this ballpark bullshit for the foreseeable future...Philly is next, and New York will only be saved by the fact that the band will want to play MSG at least every couple of cycles because it's MSG...that being said, fuck Mansfield!

I'm kinda over Last Kiss but I'd welcome the other two at any show I attend, fwiw.
