You are correct. That’s why the chair is empty for LokiEnsign9 wrote:Also, I thought someone mentioned that He Who Remains is still dead at the end of the season. They’ve already established that variants don’t have to look like the one that we knew first. The council of Kangs kinda throws some water on that, but it already exists in-universe that it doesn’t have to be MajorsEnsign9 wrote:That was great and provides a glimmer of hope that someone, somewhere, in Marvel Central Command knows what they're doing.

I do feel like this gives them a way out of the Majors Dilemma and the opportunity to go in another direction that doesn't require Kang.

Yeah but if you don’t have Majors and what he brings to the table as an actor, why bother with Kang at all?Mecca wrote:They’ve already established that variants don’t have to look like the one that we knew first. Didn’t get mobius’ ending. He doesn’t get to rejoin his kids and his own timeline? He just stands and watches a branch of it?

Loki's variants aren't all Tom Hiddleston, why do Kang's variants have to be Jonathan Majors?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Hiddleston has said that’s the end of it and he’s proud of his journey with it.

No need for any continuation beyond cameo/voiceover over this phase, imo
