Meh, I don't think I'd tell anyone they weren't a 'true PJ fan' for any reason at all, but especially if they haven't heard one album out of ten.

I dunno about all this PJ vs. NIN talk, but I'll say this... this album had zero staying power in my rotation. I'm a huge NIN fan, but this one has fallen off my radar really quick.

YZ is easily NIN's weakest.

That's a tough call. The 2nd half of the Slip certainly trails off because of the instrumentals, whereas YZ is uneven but still has great songs scattered through-out, plus that mysterious conceptual-shit going on.

I didn't like most of YZ. The Slip was generally better, I thought. This one is better than both.
