Good game last night, in the OB. I'm glad Clemson had an opportunity to play in it again and redeem themselves from the WVA debacle.
OSU is tough, their QB and RB are players. I can see the RB (forgot his name) have a great career in the NFL.
My man Sammy Watkins pretty much solidified himself as a first round pick. Boyd played well, but damn near blew it at the end. That team lives and dies with him, and when he's not feeling it, Clemson plays terrible. The BC, SCAR, FSU, and NC State games from this season come to mind. Fortunately Clemson went 2-2 in those games. During the Bowden years, they would have gone 0-4 and finished 8-4, with a mediocre bowl game.

Yeah, I just noticed that.
I think I'm going to watch some Blazing Saddles later on while it snows . . . again.

That's brilliant! Man I wish Charlie Strong would say... Scuse me while I whip this out at the press conference.
Personally I think they made a mistake not hiring him at Florida, so I think he'd be a great hire at Texas.
I just don't get the Texas has a lot of money so they should win all the time BS. Yes they have lots of talent in Texas, yes they are wealthy, but a lot of that talent is like Matt Stafford who care absolutely nothing about winning.

And now congrats are in order for Monkey_Driven, as well.
Why thank you. I was at the Cotton Bowl. What a great way to end an incredible season. Unranked in September to a possible number 4 ranking at the end of the season.

I just spent the last 30 minutes explaining to a coworker (who just got into watching college football) how the BCS works. That is not fun.

I haven't even begun to understand how the former BCS games and their selection of teams will work next year. Might just have to wait and see how it unfolds to understand how it all works.

I meant to reference this post again earlier, but at least I'm doing it before the big game starts. And this time, Cam Newton can't be used as an excuse.

I have absolutely no love for FSU, but I'm glad they won. I was rooting more against the SEC than I was for FSU.

I was torn. Auburn really was a good story this year, and one of the more tolerable SEC teams this year. Mizzou would have been even better, though it's still weird thinking of them as an SEC team.

In the end I think the best team won (FSU), but Auburn was so damn feisty the whole year. I think it is lazy journalism to say last night's game ended the SEC's reign of dominance. They won 9 of the 16 BCS championships. I think that is pretty damn good.
The playoffs are going to be great. Maybe even some teams like Mizzou this year can sneak in and have a puncher's chance.

Most SEC fans aren't too offended that Florida St snapped the streak. Now if a Pac 10 or Big 10 team did it that would be another story.
I heard a few people comment on the Jameis interview but I didn't think it was that big of a deal when I heard it. Maybe that's because I've heard plenty of such athlete interviews before, especially college athletes. And because that's how several of the kids in my neighborhood speak.

Let's all remember that 2 of the final top 5 teams weren't ranked in any preseason polls. Keep that in mind when those crazy media folks post their "way too early 2014 top 25".

Might as well put only SEC teams in the top ten and see where the chips may fall.

Johnny Football entering the draft. No big surprise there. Smart on his part. Very exciting college player. Wouldn't want my team drafting him though.
