At one point I missed a joke and accidentally backed past the ad break, and I had to watch the whole thing again.

It asks the question of “what if super heroes were actually bad people?” And there’s a lot of gore, penises, and the word cunt. I wouldn’t compare it to any of those other shows, but the first couple of seasons are excellent and it’s still been pretty good the last fewwease wrote:I’m thinking of starting this. Obviously, people think it’s good. How does it compare to the best of the Marvel shows? Or The Penguin or Peacemaker or Watchmen? Trying to figure out if it will be my cup of tea.
Yeah, this show gets real dark sometimes. I wouldn't compare it to any MCU or DC show, even though the main cast is based on The Justice League. I'd say try season 1 to get a gauge of how nasty things get, while being mindful it only gets darker as the show goes on.Mecca wrote:It asks the question of “what if super heroes were actually bad people?” And there’s a lot of gore, penises, and the word cunt. Sorry. I didn’t mean any kind of direct comparison. Just more in quality and able to keep interest up. I know nothing about the characters and wonder if it will hinder my enjoyment.Stickman wrote:Yeah, this show gets real dark sometimes. It'll def keep your interest. I didn't know anything about the show except it was about super heroes, so that's how I got into it and have kept up all these years. I've enjoyed the ride. The cast is fantastic.wease wrote:Sorry. I didn’t mean any kind of direct comparison. Just more in quality and able to keep interest up.
