The first two episodes are pretty good. I like the angle they are taking so far. I'll keep watching.

Godzilla is like sex—even when it’s only pretty good, it’s still fucking Godzilla.

Not really a spoiler, but don't expect much monster action in the first two episodes.

Yeah I figured they’re going to hide the monsters for a while—just makes sense for both suspense and the budget of a TV show vs a movie.

Please nuke this thread and put individual shows in their own threads.

Both are good to have, just like the main Netflix thread, for general discussion of the service, what's on there, what to watch, for shows that have a minor interest around here. But sometimes when a show is really good or popular, a thread of its own is better.

You going to check out Godzilla Minus One? It is getting really good reviews. Hoping it comes to theaters here where I am.

I've got a lot of catching up to do with the Toho series--when I was growing up, we had a couple of the '70s movies on VHS, plus they showed that era on channel 38 all the time, so like Godzilla vs. Megalon was my bag. We also had the version of the original Godzilla with all the white actors added in. I'll definitely check out Minus One when it's on streaming, and I think I might work my way back and watch Shin Godzilla when the series ends.
